Insurance and Billing

At Midwest Fertility Specialists, we are sensitive to the high costs associated with fertility treatment and the variability of insurance coverage. Our treatment programs are designed to keep costs competitive and to help patients’ maximize their insurance benefits. We provided all patients with a Patient Services Representative to assist them as they pursue and undergo treatment with us.

Shared Risk Refund Program

We are pleased to offer the Shared Risk® Refund Program through our affiliation with IntegraMed™. Through this program, patients are eligible for up to 6 attempts; 3 IVF cycles and 3 frozen embryo transfers for a fixed discounted fee. Should a patient decide to discontinue treatment, or if the patient does not take a baby home from the hospital, they will be refunded at least 70% of the fee.

NEW TO THE SHARED RISK REFUND PROGRAM- 100% Refund

For patients who choose to use donor eggs, through the Shared Risk Program they too are eligible for up to 6 attempts; 3 IVF cycles and 3 frozen embryo transfers for a discounted fee. They will then be refunded 100% of the fee if they decide to discontinue treatment, or do not take a baby home from the hospital.

The pre-pay for both programs covers all office visits, ultrasounds, blood tests, and embryo laboratory fees.
