YOUR FIRST VISIT

You may have been on the journey to parenthood for a long time, or you may just be beginning.  Every person’s situation is unique and your treatment will be too.

To understand your story and know what steps come first for you at Midwest Fertility Specialists your initial consultation is an opportunity to go over your medical history and get to know you better. This is also your chance to meet your physician, talk about how you’d like to approach things and to get some of your initial questions answered.

Your spouse can be a good source of support and may have his or her own questions.  If you are single, you may want to bring another important person with you. The consultation is a conversation and you may sometimes also have a physical examination or ultrasound for this visit.  This first visit usually lasts somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour.
