Robert M. Colver, MD
Reproductive Endocrinologist
Robert Colver, MD attended Indiana University where he
graduated with distinction with a degree in biology and religion. He obtained
his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. After
completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Vincent Hospital in
Indianapolis, he served a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and
Infertility at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Colver has a sincere interest in teaching and is a
Clinical Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr.
Colver has served as an Associate Director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology
Residency Program at St. Vincent Hospital and has been involved with the training of
medical students and residents for over 20 years. He also teaches an annual
medical ethics course that addresses concerns inherent to the high-tech field of
infertility.
Dr. Colver is well regarded in his field and has been
recognized by his peers as one of Indianapolis’ “Top Doctors” in Indianapolis
Monthly magazine numerous times. He has also been selected as one of “America’s
Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists” by the Consumers’ Research Council of
America.
Dr. Colver’s primary focus is to utilize evidence-based
medicine to help his patients conceive as quickly as possible by planning
individually directed and cost effective therapies while avoiding the risk of
high-order multiple pregnancies.
Dr. Colver and his wife have five children. He enjoys
fly-fishing, skiing, scuba diving and playing guitar.
Dr. Colver sees patients in Carmel, Fort Wayne, and
Bloomington, Indiana.
