A video fertility consultation makes it easier to get treatment at MFS

The Midwest Fertility Specialists (MFS) team wants to make it as convenient as possible for patients to get the care they need from us. We know that due to COVID-19, patients may not be able to make it to our Carmel and Fort Wayne offices. The good news is you can schedule a video fertility consultation with our team.

What happens during a video fertility consultation?

During a video fertility consultation, you can count on receiving the same care and information that you would receive at an in-person appointment. The only difference is that you don’t have to leave your home or office.

Our Carmel and Fort Wayne fertility centers currently offers these video appointments to all new and established patients.

Telemedicine appointments are much like our in-person consultations

Before your new patient video appointment, we would appreciate if either you or your previous doctor would send your medical records to our Carmel or Fort Wayne fertility center. Your MFS fertility doctor will then review this information before or during your video consultation. This will allow you to make the most of your time together.

During your telemedicine appointment, your doctor will ask about your medical and fertility history, including the results of any previous fertility tests or treatments. He or she will also review any additional diagnostic tests you will need to undergo. Finally, you’ll learn about which fertility treatments are available to you. 

At MFS, we want you to have the information you need to decide which family-building approach is best for you. Getting access to this information shouldn’t be hindered by COVID-19.
